Fiat Professional Ducato, which has always been an innovator in terms of technology and driving comfort, continues its evolution and offers itself as the first “Large Van” with level 2 assisted driving, offering a full range of advanced assistance systems driving (ADAS) both on the road and when parking. The ADAS offer is truly excellent: from speed limitation to braking control in case of unexpected obstacles such as pedestrians or cyclists, from traffic sign recognition and driver attention control to adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go function, Lane Keep Assist, and Traffic Jam Assist, the latter actively controlling the vehicle’s path taking into account the conditions traffic.
The features of the driving and parking assistance system are complemented by the digital central rear-view mirror, which digitally enhances and displays the rear view replacing the corresponding mirror, as well as the ESC (Electronic Stability Control) system with Cross-Wind Assist, Trailer Stability Control, and Active Park Assist, the latter being a semi-autonomous assistant for parallel and perpendicular parking maneuvers.

The headlights are divided into three sections, with the lower section dedicated to the LED light guide, which develops Ducato’s characteristic “signature” of brightness. As always with the Ducato, “style meets function.” Not only do the three central lights have a high-tech and modern look, but they also offer 30% more brightness than traditional halogen headlights. Finally, the upper part is dedicated to the indicators, whose style has also been refreshed with an LED light guide with a slider switch, an effect much appreciated and used in cars, now available in a commercial vehicle for the first time. On the outside, the grille and the protection plates are added to the Fiat emblem, which proudly underlines the model’s production by the Italian brand in its Atessa factory. The Lanzarote Gray highlights the “adventurer” spirit of the Ducato and is specifically dedicated to customers in the leisure sector.
Technology and comfort on board
As for the interior, the cabin offers a series of solutions designed to improve the quality of life on board and practicality of use: Keyless Entry and Go – to lock and unlock the cabin and load compartment doors and start the engine without the key; electric parking brake to reduce clutter in the cab and make moving easier; the Eat-and-Work passenger seat, which becomes a functional space for working or having a snack; a compartment for charging wireless mobile phones; dual USB-A and USB-C ports; a 230 V high-voltage electrical outlet; a heated windscreen with internal electrical resistance for rapid defrosting.
A redesigned dashboard complements the interior designù^^v with more functional and spacious door panels and automatic climate controls. Performance
The Ducato range offers engines developed to comply with Euro 6D-Final regulations and expands the range available with Heavy-Duty type approval. The Multijet3 diesel engines, now in their third generation, are based on the new H3 Power architecture developed by Stellantis for Fiat Professional. A name that evokes the three particularities of the new propulsion units: High Efficiency, thanks to the reduction in weight (to the benefit of the load capacity), and the reduction in consumption and CO2 emissions of up to 7% compared to the previous generation of engines; High Durability, thanks to the reliability up to 300,000 km, ensured by the industrial design and the use of specific components; High Comfort, resulting in greater flexibility and lower sound levels than the previous generation of engines. Available in the two highest power levels, the Heavy-Duty range with manual and automatic transmission completes the engines offered, maintaining the same torque as the lightweight models. It is already the best in its class, with 450 Nm of torque for the machine, the most powerful. “One mission, one engine,” with a total of 7 different combinations in the range to best suit all mission specifications.
To further improve the vehicle’s handling, the conventional power steering has been replaced by a self-adjusting electric assistance system to facilitate parking. Meanwhile, Ducato’s traditional “all-forward” architecture guarantees the best load capacity and turning radius in its category and, more generally, greater comfort for passengers and ease of loading. And unloading, partly thanks to the self-leveling pneumatic suspension and the adjustable loading sill.
Connectivity
The Ducato represents state-of-the-art in terms of connectivity. The gateway to this world is the Uconnect™ system which can be enhanced in many ways: Uconnect™ Services and the FIAT App will allow you to manage and control your vehicle directly from your devices, wherever and whenever you want. In addition, many services are available, starting with My Assistant, to ensure safety and assistance during travel, providing geolocated aid in case of an accident or breakdown. Every month a report is also sent on the health of the Ducato, with recommendations on the best way to take care of the vehicle.
My Remote allows you to interact with the vehicle, even when you are away, to lock and unlock the doors, check your position and configure alerts on speed, zone, and time slots. Plus, using a voice assistant, you can send directions directly to the Car and receive vehicle status information by giving a simple voice command.
My Car is the service pack that allows you to check the health of your Ducato at all times, including fuel level, tire pressure, and odometer, and to receive direct notifications about maintenance or repairs.
With My Navigation, you can reach any destination quickly and stress-free, with real-time traffic, weather, and speed camera information. Furthermore, the maps are continuously updated over the air without going to a workshop.
My Wi-Fi, with added Wi-Fi Hotspot, allows you to connect up to 8 devices and use the Amazon Alexa voice service in your vehicle, for example, to search and set up a destination, listen to live music, or communicate remotely with compatible home automation devices. In addition, to receive alerts in the event of attempted theft and benefit from assistance if your vehicle is stolen, the My Alert pack is available.
Finally, the My Fleet Manager tool simplifies the management of company fleets with maximum efficiency and security, thanks to advanced tools for monitoring, planning, and analyzing your vehicles, as well as the suite of mobility solutions for Stellantis group vehicles, offered by “Free2Move”.
